School st medical node expands in Northern Paarl
It was a year ago when the Minister of Health, Theuns Botha, officially opened St Stephens
Cure Day Hospital in Skool St Paarl.
The day hospital with 4 theatres and 40 beds has seen a steady increase in patient numbers and is already exceeding its patient targets.
The first floor is occupied by National Renal Care that re-located from another property in
Paarl as well as well known gastroenterologist, Dr Stephen Schmidt.
Earlier this year the historical building on the corner of Main Road and Skoal St was upgraded to accommodate Paarl North Pharmacy which has proven most convenient to residents in this part of town.
Across the road 3 houses have been upgraded to accommodate a dentist and Van den Heever Ortotiste en Protetiste Inc. which has added value to the medical node that was conceptualised by co-developers Fanie Theron of Chianti Property Developers and Dudley Annenberg of Annenberg Property Group.
Now a year later they have commenced with construction of Phase 2 of their development which will include an oncology centre operated by Ditau Health Solutions.
The building is due for completion in a year's time and will include a bunker with a linear accelerator and 6 chemotherapy stations.
This facility is a boon to the greater Boland area as currently cancer patients have to be driven to Cape Town for treatment.
There is additional space to let on the first floor for services complementary to an oncology centre.
The current basement parking will be extended to link in with Phase 2.
Inquiries for space to let in the development should be directed to Stephen Swanepoel of
Annenberg Property Group on cell 082 338 0495 or email stephen@annenberq.co.za.
